Aria is designed as a compact urban residence that unfolds vertically, with the ground floor dedicated to shared spaces — living, dining, kitchen, and puja — while the upper floors provide quiet, private retreats.
The heart of the home is defined by a triple-height volume, visually linking all levels and drawing focus to the puja- the spiritual anchor of the house. A large skylight floods this central core giving ample daylight and warmth to the interiors.
The exterior is shaped in a stepped form, rising in layers — with terraces, balconies and a sloped roof that breaks away from the rigidity of a box, creating depth, movement, and a sense of scale. The exterior is finished in brick and concrete textures intertwined with white tones .
While the home carries a sleek modern language on the exterior — of clean lines, glass railings, and contemporary proportions, in the interior however, it shifts into a more modern-classical character — a dialogue between timeless detailing and fresh simplicity with details such as wall mouldings and subtle ornamentation that introduce a quiet elegance, while furniture maintains contemporary lines for comfort and practicality.
Altogether, the design strikes a deliberate balance between two worlds: the clarity of the modern and the timelessness of the classical.
